transfer your tapes to DVD before it's too late

Let us transfer your old tapes and other video media to DVD
- enjoy Family Videos you haven't watched for years!

Your home videos may not have won any Oscars but they are more precious than any Hollywood blockbuster. A worn-out or damaged copy of 'Titanic' can be easily replaced, but the tapes holding your family memories are irreplaceable.

VCRs have a nasty habit of mangling tapes, as we all know, but that's not the main threat to your video memories. The biggest enemy is TIME. You may be aware that video tapes deteriorate a little each time they are played, but did you know that they deteriorate whether or not they are played? Video tape - even if it just sits on a shelf or in a drawer - is in a constant state of deterioration and has a lifespan of only 8—15 years. If you haven't played those tapes in a while, perhaps it's time to check on them!

The good news is that we can stop that deterioration dead in its tracks. Allow us transfer your tapes to DVD and those magical family moments will be preserved for generations to come.

Once your tapes have been transferred to DVD you'll enjoy the convenience of watching them on your DVD or Blu-ray player. Chapter markers make it easy to find favourite moments and we can add titles, captions, Hollywood style cross-fades and background music. We can even edit out unwanted footage!

The finished DVD can also be played on your Mac or PC computer. We can even produce versions suitable for iPod, iPhone, MP3 Players - even YouTube.

The time to act is now — don't leave it until something bad happens.

How much will it cost to transfer my tapes to DVD?

Our most popular service is a straightforward "no-frills" transfer. It results in a DVD which is as close a copy of the original as we can make it. Prices start from £9 - including Chapter Markers, DVD Media and full size DVD case.
Return postage and packing is £2.90 - regardless of the number of tapes in your order.

*VHS tapes often have the length printed on the cassette. An E-180 tape, for example, is 180 minutes (3 hours). An E-60 is 60 mins (1 hour) and so on. Digital 8 and Hi8 tapes are usually 90 mins. Mini DV tapes are normally 60 minutes. Don't worry if you're unsure of the length of your tapes, we can advise you of this before going ahead (our transfer machines can determine the tape length to within a few seconds).

What about Copyright and Copy Protection?

We can only transfer video that belong to you. We have the technology to get around Copy-Protection but if you think the content of your video tape/s may be Copyright, please contact us for advice.

How many tapes can I put onto one DVD?

It is possible to fit 8 hours of video onto one DVD but we advise against this. To preserve your recordings at optimum quality we recommend 1 DVD per video tape - and certainly no more than 3 hours of video on one DVD or 9 hours on a Blu-ray disc. Our prices include free media so why not give your videos the space and the quality they deserve?
