We mention this because it involves sending your cine film by Courier or Recorded Delivery, and we cannot be held responsible for film that gets lost or damaged in transit. (although this has never happened we feel you should be aware). Superior DIGITAL transfer The advantage of using a professional lab over an analog service is that the process is entirely digital. This means that every frame of your film is individually scanned. This not only results in a sharper image, but it also removes that irritating flicker* you get with analog systems. Furthermore, your film is treated with a preserver/cleaner before transfer which adds protection and sparkle. * Flicker is caused by the projector's shutter blades. Scanning the film digitally, frame-by-frame, eliminates the use of a projector and, therefore, the flicker. How much will it cost Our simple pricing (25p per foot) means it is easy to work out how much your transfer will cost, no matter how much film you have. For example: a 3 inch reel (50ft) will cost just £12.50. This includes DVD media, menu, chapter/s and unobtrusive, copyright-free background music. It also includes full size DVD case with printed insert. For an extra charge we can provide editable files in addition to your DVDs. This enables you to edit the footage at home on your PC or Mac and create your own DVD masterpieces! Large Orders If you have more than 400 ft. of film to transfer at one time, request a quotation. The more film you have the cheaper it becomes. If you are happy with our quote we will send you a Paypal invoice, or if you prefer, you may then pay by Cheque or Postal Order when sending your films.
