The photographs entrusted to us for restoration are usually very precious to their owners; often there is only one copy in existence. That's why the very first step in our Platinum service is to make a high resolution digital duplicate. Once this has been done the original is placed for safe keeping in a protective wallet, ready to be returned to you. Our expert restorers then set to work on the copy.

After the restoration has been completed we return your original pictures, together with a reference print of each restored image. You will also receive a CD or DVD containing the 'master' JPEGs (from which you can make your own prints and enlargements).

We can supply additional prints and enlargements up to 'poster' size. (see below for prices).

Your newly restored photographs can also be supplied as ready-to-hang 'Box' frame canvas prints (UK customers only)

Cost depends on the degree of restoration required. The table below will give you an indication of what to expect, but we'll let you know the precise cost once we've seen your photos. Appraisal is free and entirely without obligation so there are never any nasty surprises. If you decide not to go ahead - for whatever reason - we will return your pictures at our expense.

HOW DO I GET MY PHOTOS TO YOU?

We accept prints, transparencies (slides) and digital media such as CD, DVD, USB Flash drives, portable hard drives and memory cards. There are three ways you can get your pictures to us:

(1) BY HAND: Drop off your photographs at our Buxton office (by appointment).

(2) BY POST: We recommend packing securely and using a "Signed For" service.
